NEW!! Polyethylene (CH₂) & Deuterated Polyethylene (CD₂)

For over five decades, ACF has provided high-precision carbon foils to accelerator laboratories worldwide.

 

We are pleased to announce the addition of hydrogen-containing targets in the form of CH₂ (polyethylene) and CD₂ (deuterated polyethylene) to our accelerator target product line.

 

Available in standard thicknesses ranging from 100 to 500 ug/sq.cm (or custom thicknesses upon request), our CH₂ and CD₂ targets may be supplied self-supporting or mounted on custom frames.

 

These targets are most commonly utilized for:

  • (d,p) and (d,n) reaction studies

  • Inverse kinematics experiments

  • Neutron production and detector calibration

  • And... Your next experiment!

As with our carbon foils, each target is produced with careful attention to uniformity, mechanical stability, and accelerator compatibility.
