アーク蒸着カーボン箔は、ガラス基板上に塗布され、剥離剤を用いて手作業で研磨され、浮遊剥離が可能なもの（0.1～180µg/平方センチメートル）と、個別の保護容器に収められた自立型（181～2000µg/平方センチメートル）の両方があります。
ガラス基板上の標準サイズは2種類：
25mm×70mm
50mm×70mm
自立型ホイルの標準サイズは2種類：
24mm×68mm
48mm×68mm
